Subscribing to Events Using Google Calendar

On a PC, open your Google Calendar, and on the left side next to Other Calendars you’ll see a + that opens a sub-menu when clicked.  From there, click Add by URL and submit the iCal URL in the following popup. That’s it!

Once added on your PC, on your phone, open the Google Calendar app'. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner, scroll down and tap "Show more", tap the Sailing Club Events calendar to select it and then turn "Sync" on.

Subscribing to Events Using The Calendar Feed With an iPhone.

1) Go to Settings.
2) Scroll down and click on the "Calendar" menu item.
3) Click on "Accounts"
4) Click on "Add Account".
5) Click on "Other".
6) Click on "Add Subscribed Calendar".
7) Type "https://shotleysailingclub.uk/events.ics"  into the Server field.
8) Click "Next".
9) Click "Save"
10) Now if you go to the "Calendar" from your iPhone home screen, you will see club events in the calendar.
