Membership of Shotley Sailing Club (SSC) is open to anyone with an interest in the water. Membership entitles the use of the slipway, showers and club house. The club operates active dinghy, yacht racing and cruising calendars, and has dinghy park and mooring facilities.​

There are 3 types of membership :

  1. Full/Family:- this includes individual member, spouse/partner and family members up to age of 18.

  2. Junior:- this for active sailing members 14 to 18 years of age.

  3. Senior:- this is for members aged 65 or over.
